STK TV-SAT 364 selects Ekioh SVG UI Engine
Apr 25, 2016 – STK TV-SAT 364 has started to roll out an IPTV service in Poland using its RevoTV platform and Ekioh’s SVG UI Engine. The service uses set top boxes from Arris, Albis and Infomir.

V-Nova video compression deployed by Sky Italia

Unitymedia begins analogue cable TV switch off

Number of TV channels in Europe still growing
Apr 5, 2016 – The total number of TV channels established in the EU grew by 49% from 3615 TV channels in 2009 to 5370 in 2015, according to data from the European Audiovisual Observatory's TV and VOD database.

KPN grows TV market share in the Netherlands
Apr 3, 2016 – KPN continues to grow its share of the Dutch TV market, at the expense of cable operator Ziggo. KPN added 2.3 percentage points of market share in 2015 to take 28.7 percent of subscribers, according to Telecompaper.

T-Mobile Czech Republic IPTV service to start on April 4th
Mar 31, 2016 – T-Mobile Czech Republic has announced that it will launch an IPTV service called T-Mobile TV on April 4, 2016. There will be three tiers of service consisting of 70, 100 or 130 channels including some channels in HD.
