On-demand TV revenues to climb by 54%

Aug 8, 2012 – Bharti Airtel (Bombay:532454) has announced results for its first quarter ended June 30, 2012. Airtel digital TV had 7.4 million customers on its Direct-To-Home (DTH) platform at the end of the period, up 172,000 in the quarter.

Aug 1, 2012 – The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has released its Performance Indicator Report for the first quarter of 2012. At quarter-end, India's DTH subscriber base was 46.25 million, up from 44.21 million at the end of the previous quarter.
