Iliad (Free) 1H 2008 Revenues
Aug 4, 2008 – Iliad (Paris: ILD) subsidiary Free recruited 230,000 new ADSL subscribers (net of terminations) in 1st half 2008. The ADSL subscriber base thus increased from 2,904,000 at 31 December 2007 to 3,134,000 at 30 June 2008.

ONO second quarter 2008 results
Jul 31, 2008 – Spain's ONO has announced consolidated unaudited results for the second quarter ended 30 June 2008. Cable television customers increased by 148,000 or 16.4% in the last twelve months to reach 1,052,000 as of 30 June 2008.

Continued strong performance by France Telecom in the first half 2008
Jul 31, 2008 – France Telecom (Paris:FTE)(NYSE:FTE) revenues for the first half 2008 rose to €26.304 billion. ADSL digital TV services (IPTV) had a total of 1.54 million subscribers in Europe at 30 June 2008, compared with 872,000 one year earlier.

Telefónica on track to meet its 2008 targets

MPEG-4 chosen for Irish Digital Terrestrial TV

BSkyB results for the 12 months ended 30 June 2008
