DNA in Finland selects ENENSYS for their DVB-T2 trial
Jan 11, 2010 – DNA Oy, Finland's second largest pay television operator, has successfully launched DVB-T2 HDTV test broadcasts in Lahti. The project has reached the test transmission phase thanks to a ENENSYS DVB-T2 modulator and T2 Gateway.

Welho starts 3DTV test distribution on its network

DVB-T2 in Finland - a step forward with TeamCast

DNA launches HDTV DVB-T2 test broadcasts in Finland
Dec 8, 2009 – High-definition (HD) programming is to be commercially available via DTT for the first time in Finland. Having won the contract to provide both the network and the service, DNA has launched the first test broadcasts in the Lahti area.

Welho 3Q09 customer base stable at 67 thousand
Nov 6, 2009 – Sanoma Group (Helsinki:SAA1V) has released its interim report for the 1 Jan-30 Sept 2009 period. In line with the Finnish pay TV market, Welho's pay TV operations were stable, down one thousand subscribers versus the same period in 2008.

Canal Digital DTH loses 8,000 subscribers in 3Q09
Oct 29, 2009 – Telenor (Oslo:TEL) has released results for the third quarter of 2009. The number of Canal Digital DTH subscribers decreased by 8,000 in the quarter. Cable TV subscribers were up 1,000.

TeliaSonera adds 29k IPTV subscribers in 3Q09
Oct 28, 2009 – TeliaSonera (Stockholm: TLSN) has released its interim report for the period January-September 2009. The total number of IPTV subscriptions increased by 29,000 during the quarter, of which 17,000 came from Sweden.

European Commission wants transition to digital TV to be accelerated
