22 of 27 EU countries implement analogue TV switch-off by end-2012
Mar 11, 2013 – The Yearbook recently published by the European Audiovisual Observatory showed that the year 2012 was a significant watershed for digital terrestrial television in the European Union with a total of 22 EU member States having hit the recommended digital switchover deadline.

Montenegro ends 2012 with 133,831 pay TV subscribers
Jan 18, 2013 – The Agency for Electronic Media in Montenegro has released subscriber figures for the seven pay TV operators in the country. As at December 31, 2012, the number of cable, MMDS, IPTV and DTH connections was 133,831, up 11,097 or 9.04% in the year.

Montenegro ends 1Q 2012 with 123,279 pay TV subscribers
Apr 20, 2012 – The Agency for Electronic Media in Montenegro has released subscriber figures for the seven pay TV operators in the country. As at March 31, 2012, the number of cable, MMDS, IPTV and DTH connections was 123,279, up 545 in the first quarter.

EBU drive will bring Hybrid TV into European homes in 2012
Dec 1, 2011 – More than 20 EBU Members have agreed to collaborate to unlock the full potential of Hybrid TV for a European rollout of the technology in 2012. The announcement came as the EBU opened its 67th General Assembly, at the EBU headquarters, in Geneva.

Montenegro gets fourth cable TV operator
Aug 12, 2011 – Montenegro's Agency for Electronic Media has authorised a fourth cable TV operator, MEDIA NET d.o.o., for the country. The service offers a basic package consisting of 35 channels and will be available in Podgorica, Rožaje and Berane.
