ABC selects BuyDRM multi-DRM for iview on-demand and catch up TV
May 16, 2017 – BuyDRM has announced that the Australian Broadcasting Corporation is now using their KeyOS MultiKey Service for their VOD and catchup service iview. Using KeyOS, iview will be able to deliver DASH, HLS and MSS encoded content using industry-leading DRMs.

ZTE to provide DTMB broadcasting infrastructure for Pakistan's PTV

Global pay TV subscribers to reach 1.09 billion
May 15, 2017 – Digital TV Research forecasts 134 million additional pay TV subscribers between 2016 and 2022 to take the total to 1.09 billion. The number of pay TV subscribers will pass the 1 billion mark in early 2018.

Eurofins to provide test and QA for Conax

Airtel Digital TV adds 228,000 subscribers in 1Q 2017
May 9, 2017 – Bharti Airtel has announced results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2017. DTH had 12.8 million customers at the end of the quarter, up 9.3% versus the same quarter last year.
