Liberty Global Reports First Quarter 2009 Results
May 5, 2009 – Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK) has announced results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2009. The company added 216,000 RGUs in the first quarter of 2009, driven by strong growth in advanced services, especially digital cable.

Telenor (Canal Digital) subscribers fall in Q1
May 5, 2009 – Telenor (Oslo:TEL) has released results for the first quarter of 2009. The number of Canal Digital DTH subscribers decreased by 17,000 and the number of Telenor cable subscribers fell by 7,000 during the quarter.

Continued growth for Com Hem in the first quarter of 2009
May 4, 2009 – In the first quarter of 2009 revenues for Com Hem amounted to 1,003 MSEK, an increase of approximately 6 percent compared with the same period in 2008. During the period, the number of Digital TV subscriptions increased by 4 percent to 487,000.

37% of France's ADSL subscribers have TV-over-DSL
May 4, 2009 – France's telecoms authority, ARCEP, has published its latest market survey up to the end of the fourth quarter 2008. At the end of the period, 37% of ADSL subscribers, or 6.2 million, were also subscribing to TV-over-DSL.

BSkyB adds 80k subscribers in quarter to end-March
May 1, 2009 – BSkyB (LSE:BSY) net customer additions for the quarter ended 31 March 2009 were 80,000 taking the total base to 9.318 million. Gross customer additions were 13% higher year-on-year at 327,000 and churn was 10.6%.

Spain's DIGITAL+ subscribers down 34 thousand in Q1
Apr 30, 2009 – Grupo PRISA (Madrid: PRS), owner of Sogecable, has reported results for the period January-March 2009. The subscriber base of DIGITAL+, Sogecable's Spanish satellite platform, was 2,001,000 at quarter end, down from 2,035,000 at the end of 2008.

Croatia's MAXtv subscribers up 167.9% to 150,953
Apr 30, 2009 – T-Hrvatski Telekom (London: THTC; Zagreb: HT-R-A) has announced results for the first three months of 2009. MAXtv, the Group's TV service, increased subscriber numbers by 167.9%, ending the first quarter of 2009 with 150,953 subscribers.

CYFRA+ adds DTT reception to Philips set-tops
