RTÉ proposes DTT with satellite in-fill for Ireland
Jul 15, 2010 – RTÉ has proposed to Ireland's Minister for Communications that the company should offer a free-to-air TV service via terrestrial covering 98% of the population, with the remaining 2% in remote areas being covered by satellite.
