TivùSat reaches 1.8 million active smart cards
Mar 4, 2013 – Italian satellite TV platform TivùSat has announced that it now has more than 1.8 million active smart cards in 1.5 million households. The regions with the highest penetration levels are Calabria, Liguria, Molise, Valle d'Aosta, Basilicata and Sicily.

ZTE Delivers New IPTV Experience to Mtel Customers in Bulgaria

Satellite subscribers grow 25% in Croatia in 2012
Mar 1, 2013 – The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) has reported market data for the end of the fourth quarter of 2012. Satellite TV was the fastest growing segment of the television market with subscriptions growing by 25% over the year. IPTV remains the leading pay TV technology with more than 360,000 subscribers.

Deutsche Telekom adds 413,000 Entertain TV subscribers in 2012
Feb 28, 2013 – Deutsche Telekom (Frankfurt: DTE)(NYSE:DT) has released results for 2012. The number of customers with the company's Entertain television service went up by 26.6 percent year-on-year to 2.0 million. Entertain via Sat, available since September 2011, made up 299,000 of the total.

Telefónica pay TV subscribers stable over 2012 at 3.3 million
Feb 28, 2013 – Telefónica (Madrid and NYSE: TEF) has released its fourth quarter and 2012 results. The company finished 2012 with 3.3 million pay TV subscribers, 0.8% up on the end of 2011. Losses in Europe and Brazil were offset by growth elsewhere in Latin America.

Sky Deutschland customer base up 351,000 in 2012
Feb 28, 2013 – Sky Deutschland has released 2012 full-year results. Sky's customer base grew by 351,000 (or 12%) to 3,363,000 at year's end. The number of Sky+ customers increase by 126% to 929,000.

TiVo reports results for its year ended January 31, 2013
Feb 26, 2013 – TiVo (NASDAQ: TIVO) has reported results for its fourth quarter and year ended January 31, 2013. For the quarter, service and technology revenues were $65.7 million, which was the highest in TiVo's history. TiVo reported a net loss of $(15.8) million.

Vivendi (Canal+, GVT, nc+) releases 2012 results
Feb 26, 2013 – Vivendi has released its 2012 results. Launched commercially in January 2012, the number of subscribers for GVT's pay-TV service reached 406,000 at the end of 2012. Canal+ France had 11.363 million subscriptions at the end of the year.

Netia TV subscribers in Poland up 56% in 2012 to 79,285
Feb 21, 2013 – Poland's Netia (WSE: NET) has announced results for the period ended December 31, 2012. Netia's TV services reached 79,285 at year-end, growing by 56% from 50,712 at December 31, 2011 and by 9% from 72,805 at September 30, 2012.
