Hungary finishes 2011 with 1.658 million pay TV subscribers

Sky Deutschland surpasses 3 million customers
Feb 2, 2012 – Sky Deutschland has announced that it had reached 3,012,000 customers at the end of 2011. In total the company grew by 359,000 customers, almost twice the net growth of 2010 (183,000), and the highest net growth in the company's history.

Portugal ends 2011 with 2.9 million pay TV subscribers
Jan 31, 2012 – According to Portugal's Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM), there were 2.9 million subscribers to subscription TV in the country at the end of Q4 2011, 69,000 more than in the previous quarter and 202,000 more than in the same period of 2010.

BSkyB HD customers reach 4 million
Jan 31, 2012 – BSkyB (LSE:BSY) has announced results for the six months ended 31 December 2011. Total HD customers reached four million, with 138,000 net additions in the final quarter of 2011. Sky added 40,000 TV customers in total in the same period.
