Romtelecom launches Dolce Interactiv IPTV in 10 cities

RomTelecom finishes 3Q09 with 831,000 DTH subscribers
Nov 5, 2009 – The OTE Group (Athens: HTO, NYSE: OTE) has announced results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. In Romania, RomTelecom's DTH subscribers passed 831,000 in the quarter and a new IPTV project is to be launched in the coming months.

UPC adds over 400,000 DVR cable RGUs in the last twelve months
Nov 4, 2009 – Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB, LBTYK) has announced results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. In the last twelve months, digital cable RGUs have grown by 42% or 1.9 million, to give a digital penetration of 45%.

European Commission wants transition to digital TV to be accelerated
