NCC to propose STB subsidy for DTT in Taiwan

Chunghwa Telecom Multimedia-on-Demand subscribers down 26k in 2Q09
Aug 27, 2009 – Chunghwa Telecom (TAIEX: 2412, NYSE: CHT) has reported results for the first six months of 2009. At the end of the quarter, Chunghwa had 660,000 Multimedia-On-Demand (MOD) subscribers, a 29.7% y-o-y increase, though down 26,000 on end-March 2009.
