Mediaset plans internet TV service
Oct 17, 2009 – In documents sent to potential suppliers, Mediaset has revealed plans to launch television via the internet from December 2009. Initially channels will be accessible only via a PC with a set-top box for TV viewing planned for 2010.

Slovak Telekom starts Magio TV DTH trial

Spain - October DTT monthly update released
Oct 12, 2009 – According to Impulsa-TDT, 679,820 DTT receivers were sold in August, giving a cumulative total for Spain of 21.8 million units. Based on reporting from TNS Sofres, penetration of DTT in Spanish households passed 70% in September.
