Liberty Global adds 370k digital cable subscribers in 2Q09
Aug 4, 2009 – Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK) has announced results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009. Digital cable remains the strongest of segment, with the addition of 370,000 subscribers in the three months ended June 30, 2009.

Hungary's EnterNet now offers IPTV
May 29, 2009 – EnterNet of Hungary has launched a triple-play IPTV service. There are three TV packages - Start (24 channels), Home (49 channels) and Premium (64 channels). Five high-definition (HD) channels are also available as options.

European Commission paves the way for European mobile satellite services

Magyar Telekom Sat TV reaches 47k subs; IPTV at 60k
May 7, 2009 – Magyar Telekom (NYSE: MTA)(Budapest: MTELEKOM) has reported results for the first quarter of 2009. In Hungary, T-Home Sat TV customers reached 47,144 at March 31, 2009. IPTV grew significantly in Hungary, Macedonia and Montenegro.
