OzTAM releases DTT technology penetration figures for Australia
Apr 4, 2011 – OzTAM has released new information on the take-up of DTT technology in Australia's five metropolitan markets. DTT penetration across the markets has risen to 89 per cent and PVR penetration is now 40 per cent compared to 28 per cent in March 2010.

New Zealand to expand Freeview|HD coverage
Mar 27, 2011 – New Zealand's Broadcasting Minister has announced that Freeview|HD will be available to an extra 160,000 homes as it extends the DTT service to Whangarei, Rotorua, Gisborne, Taupo, New Plymouth, Whanganui, Wairarapa, Nelson, Timaru and Invercargill.

Australia releases Q4 2010 Digital Tracker survey
Mar 4, 2011 – Across Australia, 77 per cent of households had converted to digital TV during the quarter. Darwin and Tasmania lead the nation in the take-up of digital TV, with a conversion rate of 88 per cent by the end of 2010.
