Three Co-ops to launch OTT and VOD in Argentina
Jun 29, 2011 – Three telephone companies belonging to Argentina's Chamber of Telecommunications Cooperatives (Catel) are planning to launch OTT and VOD TV in September. The coops, Telpin, Telviso and TelVGG, will provide the service through a dedicated IP set-top box.

UPC leads in digital cable in Poland
Jun 13, 2011 – According to Poland's Chamber for Electronic Communication (PIKE), at the end of March 2011, UPC had the largest number of subscribers in Poland receiving digital cable TV, with a total of 408,000. Vectra was second with 331,000.

Court of Justice ruling means PVRs escape EU customs duty
Apr 14, 2011 – The European Court of Justice has ruled that for customs purposes decoders with a hard disk drive are set-top boxes and not recording apparatus and so are exempt from customs duties instead of being subject to a rate of 13.9%.
