Antenna Hungária launches DVB-H mobile television broadcast in Budapest
Dec 12, 2008 – Antenna Hungária and Nokia (Helsinki:NOK1V; NYSE:NOK) have announced that DVB-H broadcasting has begun from three transmitters. The Hungarian public TV channels are being broadcast in the clear so anyone with a suitable phone can test the service.

Zappware inks partnership with Polish cable operator Toya

France publishes analogue switch-over timetable

Croatia's Optima Telecom to launch IPTV
Dec 8, 2008 – A contract was signed today in Zagreb between Odašiljači i veze (OiV) and Optima Telekom (OT) to provide IP television (IPTV) services in Croatia. The service, called OptiTV, is scheduled for launch by the end of the first quarter of 2009.

RTVE and Abertis Telecom sign agreement to supply 100% of Spanish homes with DTT
Dec 4, 2008 – Televisión Española and Abertis Telecom have signed an agreement to ensure that 100% of the Spanish population can receive TVE's DTT programmes. Terrestrial will reach 98.5% of the population with the remaining 1.5% being covered via satellite.
