TEO offers PVR to Digital GALA TV customers
Oct 8, 2009 – Customers of the Digital GALA TV service provided by TEO LT (Vilnius:TEO1L) in Lithuania will have the possibility to record all desired TV programs or films and watch them at convenient times. This will be enabled by the use of new 'smart' set-top boxes.

VDNET launches digital TV in four Lithuanian cities
Sep 8, 2009 – VDNET has launched digital cable TV on its networks in the Lithuanian cities of Vilnius, Alytus, Marijampole and Silute. The service offers up to 70 TV channels with HDTV available as an option.

WirelessHD® 60GHz CE Products Arrive in Europe

EU Launches Digital Dividend Consultation

European Commission paves the way for European mobile satellite services
May 14, 2009 – The European Commission has selected two operators, Inmarsat Ventures and Solaris Mobile, to provide mobile satellite services, such as high-speed internet access, mobile television and radio or emergency communications, across Europe.

TeliaSonera January-March 2009
Apr 24, 2009 – TeliaSonera (Stockholm: TLSN) net sales increased 11.5 percent to SEK 27,204 million (24,398). The total number of TV subscriptions rose by 100,000 from the first quarter 2008 to 688,000, of which 509,000 were IPTV subscriptions, up 102,000.

TEO results for the first quarter of 2009
