Cyfrowy Polsat adds 286k subscribers in 4Q09
Mar 18, 2010 – Cyfrowy Polsat (Warsaw: CPS) has released its report for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2009. As at 31 December 2009 Polsat's subscriber base of pay packages reached 3,202,319, an increase of 475,326 compared to 31 December 2008.

UPC Polska catching up with Vectra in digital cable
Mar 11, 2010 – According to Poland's Chamber for Electronic Communication (Polska Izba Komunikacji Elektronicznej - PIKE), at the end of 2009, Vectra had the largest number of subscribers in Poland receiving digital cable TV, with a total of 240,000. UPC was second with 229,400.

CANAL+ Cyfrowy adds 170,000 subscribers in 2009
Mar 3, 2010 – In 2009 CANAL+ Cyfrowy achieved very impressive operational results, with EBITDA of PLN 244 m and revenues of PLN 1,279 m. CYFRA+ also expanded its customer base to 1.55 m (from 1.38 in 2008).

Multimedia Polska adds 8k digital subscribers in Q4"²09
Mar 1, 2010 – Multimedia Polska (Warsaw:MMP) has released results for 2009. In the fourth quarter Multimedia Polska recorded a net increase in RGUs of 27,060, including 10,848 CATV RGUs consisting of 2,503 analog cable TV RGUs, 594 IPTV RGUs and 7,751 DTV RGUs.

Canal+ migrates 490k subscribers to digital in 2009
Mar 1, 2010 – Vivendi (Paris: VIV) has released results for 2009. In metropolitan France, 2009 was marked by the resumption of subscription take-ups in the fall. In total, 490,000 subscribers have transferred to digital since the beginning of the year.

France Telecom adds 301,000 TV subscribers in 4Q09
Feb 25, 2010 – France Telecom (Paris & NYSE: FTE) has released its fourth quarter and full year 2009 results. France Telecom had 3.2 million digital TV (IPTV and satellite) subscribers at the end of 2009, a 53% increase in the year, and up 301,000 in the quarter.

Liberty Global adds 382k digital cable and 23k DTH subscribers in 4Q09
Feb 24, 2010 – Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK) has announced results for the fourth quarter 2009. Digital cable was Liberty Global's most successful product in 2009 with 1.6 million digital cable additions, including 377,000 in the fourth quarter.

Feb 23, 2010 – Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) has provided selected financial and operating data related to the activities of TP Group for the full year 2009. TP's TV subscriber base grew by more than 300% to 372,000 compared with 113,000 at the end of 2008.
