DTT in 60% of French households
Apr 6, 2011 – France's CSA has reported latest results from its survey on the penetration of digital TV in French households. More than nine out of ten households are now equipped to receive digital TV, with 60% having chosen DTT as their digital service.

Digital TV in more than two thirds of Dutch households

CSA authorises HbbTV trial in Auxerre
Apr 1, 2011 – France's Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA) has authorised an interactive DTT trial based on the HbbTV standard. The trial, co-ordinated by the HD Forum, is for a period of two months and takes place in Burgundy's Auxerre region.

Spain ends 2010 with 4.8 million pay TV subscribers
Apr 1, 2011 – Spain's Telecommunications Market Commission (CMT) has published telecommunications statistics for the country for 2010. Total TV (satellite, cable, IPTV, DTT and mobile) subscribers surpassed the 4.8 million mark in the final quarter.

DNA awarded VHF-C DTT multiplex in Finland
Mar 31, 2011 – Finland's Government has granted DNA a network operating license covering almost the entire country in multiplex VHF C in the terrestrial network. The licence will be valid until 31 December 2016.

KPN to withdraw DVB-H mobile TV service
