EU Member States on course for analogue terrestrial TV switch-off

Mobiele TV Nederland gets DMB licence
Feb 12, 2009 – The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has decided to issue a national DAB+DMB licence to Mobiele TV Nederland. The company plans to launch a mobile TV service in The Netherlands using the DMB standard.

KPN solid full-year 2008 results
Jan 27, 2009 – KPN (Amsterdam:KPN) group revenues and other income in Q4 were up €59m to €3.7bn. At the end of Q4 2008, KPN had 775k TV (Digitenne DTT and IPTV) customers, of which around 40k were IPTV customers. In addition, KPN had 30k DVB-H subscribers.

Dutch digital TV connections rise 5.4%, 4 million mark in sight
Dec 4, 2008 – The total number of digital TV connections rose during the third quarter by 5.4 percent, or 195,700 net additions, to 3.82 million, increasing its share of the entire TV market to 49.5 percent, according to Telecompaper's Dutch TV quarterly report.
