Liberty Global Reports Third Quarter 2008 Results
Nov 5, 2008 – Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK) has announced financial and operating results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2008. Digital video, including both cable and DTH, remained the strongest product with 363,000 additions.

Switzerland - Cablecom offers high definition recorder
Nov 5, 2008 – Cablecom is launching its HD mediabox recorder for high definition TV (HDTV). The HD mediabox recorder has an integrated hard disk and can record two programmes simultaneously. The HDTV recording package is available for 25 CHF per month.

Swisscom releases January-September 2008 Interim Report
Nov 5, 2008 – Swisscom (Swiss: SCMN) closed the first nine months of 2008 with net revenue of CHF 9,085 million. At the end of September 2008 'Bluewin TV' was used by 95,000 paying customers, a growth of 43,000 compared with the previous year.

Canal+ Switzerland to launch on October 1st

Aug 13, 2008 – Swisscom (Swiss: SCMN) posted a 17.6% increase in revenue to CHF 5,991 million for the first half of 2008. At the end of June 2008 'Bluewin TV' had 80,000 paying customers, up from around 40,000 at the end of June 2007.
