Nov 28, 2007 – TiVo (Nasdaq: TIVO) has reported financial results for the third quarter ended October 31, 2007. TiVo-Owned subscription gross additions for the third quarter were 69,000 for a total of 1.7 million from 1.6 million in the year ago-period.

The DIRECTV Group Announces Third Quarter 2007 Results
Nov 7, 2007 – DIRECTV (NYSE:DTV) U.S. net subscriber additions increased 45% to 240,000 in the quarter bringing the total number of subscribers as of September 30, 2007 to 16.56 million. DIRECTV Latin America had a nearly fourfold increase in net subscriber additions to 161,000.

OECD broadband statistics (June 2007)
Nov 5, 2007 – Over the past year, the number of broadband subscribers in the OECD increased 24% from 178 million in June 2006 to 221 million subscribers in June 2007. Broadband penetration rates increased from 15.1 in June 2006 to 18.8 subscriptions per 100 inhabitants one year later.

MPEG LA Issues ATSC Patent Portfolio License

Aug 29, 2007 – TiVo (Nasdaq: TIVO) has reported financial results for the second quarter ended July 31, 2007. TiVo-Owned subscription gross additions for the second quarter were 41,000, compared to 74,000 gross additions for the year-ago period. Overall, TiVo-Owned subscriptions totaled 1.71 million, up 136,000 on an annual basis compared to the year ago-period.
