Bouygues Telecom claims 300,000 BBox subscribers
Jan 29, 2010 – According to a message sent to its customers, more than 300,000 have now subscribed to Bouygues Telecom's BBox triple play service. In the fourth quarter of 2009 alone, BBox added 127,000 subscribers.

Sweden consults on terrestrial HDTV and DVB-T2

1 in 5 Dutch households has a hard disk recorder
Jan 29, 2010 – The Dutch Audience Research Foundation (SKO) has published the results of its annual 'TV in the Netherlands' report. Penetration of digital TV in the Netherlands has increased from 41.3% in 2008 to 50.8% in the second half of 2009.

French VoD market: up 175% in two years
Jan 29, 2010 – While the French DVD market is declining or stabilizing at best, VoD continues its growth, mainly driven by leading TV operators' offers. According to preliminary figures from GfK, VoD market grew to over €80m in 2009, up from €53m in 2008.

BSkyB adds 482,000 HD customers in 4Q09
Jan 28, 2010 – BSkyB (LSE:BSY) has released results for the six months ended 31 December 2009. The quarter saw record growth in Sky+HD. Sky added 482,000 net Sky+HD customers, an increase of 1.3 million HD customers in the last 12 months.

National Communications Authority of Hungary publishes TV report to November 2009
Jan 26, 2010 – In November 2009, the number of households with digital television subscriptions in the network of Hungary's fourteen largest broadcasters rose to 1,118,000, an increase of nearly 10,000, states the flash report released by the National Communications Authority (NHH).

KPN adds 46 thousand digital TV subscribers in 4Q09
