Viasat Launches High Definition Television
Jan 15, 2008 – MTG has announced that Viasat Broadcasting has launched its high definition television (HDTV) offering on its Nordic Satellite pay-TV platform, including two Viasat-branded premium HDTV channels - TV1000 HD and Viasat Sport HD.

Sweden - Continued growth for Boxer in 2007
Jan 10, 2008 – By 31st December 2007 Boxer had 709,000 digital pay TV subscribers, representing an increase of 55,000 in 2007 - equivalent to growth of nearly nine per cent. During the fourth quarter of 2007 the number of customers increased by 16,000.

OECD broadband statistics (June 2007)
Nov 5, 2007 – Over the past year, the number of broadband subscribers in the OECD increased 24% from 178 million in June 2006 to 221 million subscribers in June 2007. Broadband penetration rates increased from 15.1 in June 2006 to 18.8 subscriptions per 100 inhabitants one year later.
