Global pay TV revenues reached US$155 billion in 2010
Jun 13, 2011 – About 338 million digital homes were added around the world between 2006 and 2010, according to a report from Digital TV Research. The Digital TV World Databook estimated that this took the digital TV household total for the countries covered to 576 million.

Digital TV boom time ahead for Eastern Europe
May 26, 2011 – Unlike the mature markets to the west, Eastern Europe still has plenty of room for digital TV growth according to Digital TV Research Ltd. Two-thirds of homes (76 million) were still receiving analog signals at end-2010.

T-Hrvatski Telekom IPTV subscribers up 15k in 1Q10
Apr 30, 2010 – T-Hrvatski Telekom (Reuters: THTC.L, HT.ZA; Bloomberg: THTC LI, HTRA CZ) has announced results for the three months to 31 March 2010. MAXtv, the Group's IPTV service, reached nearly 251,000 subscribers up from 236,000 at the end of 2009.

DT Germany connects 128,000 IPTV customers in 4Q09
Feb 25, 2010 – Deutsche Telekom (Frankfurt: DTE)(NYSE:DT) has reported results for the full year 2009. In Germany DT sold more than one million Entertain packages, and in Southern and Eastern Europe the number of IPTV customers almost doubled to over 400,000.
