European Commission strategy for Mobile TV in Europe endorsed by Member States
Nov 29, 2007 – EU Member States have endorsed the European Commission three pillar strategy presented in July: putting in place a joint approach to licensing; making available spectrum for services; and promoting the use of DVB-H as the mobile TV standard for Europe.

Liberty Global Reports Third Quarter 2007 Results
Nov 8, 2007 – Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB, LBTYK) has announced financial and operating results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. Digital cable additions continued to accelerate in the third quarter, with the addition of 234,000 organic RGUs, a 19% improvement over the comparable period in 2006.

OECD broadband statistics (June 2007)
Nov 5, 2007 – Over the past year, the number of broadband subscribers in the OECD increased 24% from 178 million in June 2006 to 221 million subscribers in June 2007. Broadband penetration rates increased from 15.1 in June 2006 to 18.8 subscriptions per 100 inhabitants one year later.

Digital TV increases to 41% of Dutch households
Oct 3, 2007 – In the Netherlands, the digitalisation of media and communication services continues at a fast pace. Digital TV now reaches 41% of all households, an increase of 50% compared with last year.

Almost one-third of Dutch TV connections are digital
Oct 1, 2007 – The total number of Dutch TV connections stabilised at 7.027 million connections at the end of the second quarter of 2007, with the number of digital TV connections growing by 4.2 percent to 2.2 million, according to Telecompaper's quarterly update on the Dutch TV market.

Half of families in Western Europe are now receiving digital television
Sep 24, 2007 – Digital television in Western Europe is reaching a decisive milestone this month, overtaking the analogue system for the first time. There are now about 83 million households in the region's 20 countries receiving digital television signals out of a total of 166 million TV households.
