Western European OTT to add $9 billion
Jul 2, 2015 – OTT TV and video revenues in Western Europe will reach $13.72 billion in 2020; up from the $894 million recorded in 2010 and the $6.34 billion expected in 2015, according to a report from Digital TV Research.

Macedonia pay TV subscribers up 5.6% in 2014
Jul 1, 2015 – Macedonia's Agency for Electronic Communications (АЕК) has released its latest report on the country's communications market up to the 4th quarter of 2014. Macedonia finished 2014 with 359 thousand pay TV subscribers, up 5.6% year-on-year.

Vodafone Portugal launches first 4K (UHD) television channel
Jul 1, 2015 – Vodafone Portugal has announced that it is now is offering a 4K (Ultra HD) television channel to its TV-over-fibre customers. Initially, Vodafone Portugal will start 4K/UHD broadcasts of the FunBox 4K UHD channel.

Netflix on track for 69.9 million subs by year-end

Manhattan developing a range of Freeview Play set-top boxes
Jun 23, 2015 – Digital UK and Freeview have announced that set-top box manufacturer Manhattan TV will launch a range of Freeview Play products early next year. The UK-owned company will offer a standalone receiver (T3) and two digital recorders (T3-R).

BT Sport selects Ericsson to launch UK's first UHD TV channel
