KPN reaches 1 million TV subscriber mark
Apr 27, 2010 – KPN Group (Amsterdam:KPN) has released its Interim Financial Report for the first quarter of 2010. KPN's TV (Digitenne DTT + Interactieve TV IPTV) subscriber base reached 1.033 million at the end of the quarter, up 49 thousand from the end of 2009.

Ziggo prepares for 3D
Apr 6, 2010 – Dutch cable company Ziggo has held a press conference at which it showed, using TVs from Samsung, that it is capable of offering 3D TV to its customers. Ziggo is hoping to be ready to broadcast the World Cup in 3D.

KPN adds HDTV to its IPTV service
Apr 6, 2010 – KPN has launched high-definition (HD) TV on its Interactieve TV IPTV service. The new service consists of 10 HD channels: Nederland 1, 2 and 3, Net5, SBS6, Veronica, Flemish channels Één and Canvas Ketnet, and thematic channels Discovery HD and Animal Planet HD.

Ziggo exceeds 1.5 million digital TV subscribers at end-2009

Digital captures almost 60% of TV market in Netherlands

Liberty Global adds 382k digital cable and 23k DTH subscribers in 4Q09
Feb 24, 2010 – Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK) has announced results for the fourth quarter 2009. Digital cable was Liberty Global's most successful product in 2009 with 1.6 million digital cable additions, including 377,000 in the fourth quarter.
